The Festival Timeline: Four Phases
1 — The preparation Phase
A handful of church and marketplace leaders prayerfully set out to inquire if a movement of this magnitude is in the timing of God and within the rhythm of the city. This is the phase where the vision is cast from local Church Leaders so that the festival is owned by the local Church.
2 — The Promotion Phase
Until now everything has been focused on finding and recruiting the right leaders to guide the effort. Now the focus shifts to include everyday Christians. This is when we begin to mobilize and promote the Festival in the Church and outside the Church through the process called, “Internal and External Promotion.”
3 — The proclamation Phase
United together, the local Church endeavors to saturate the whole region with the Gospel through multiple strategies. This includes prison outreaches, evangelistic luncheons, and other affinity-focused evangelistic events that make sense for the city. This includes evangelistic training and mobilizing believers, who will reach out to our non-believing friends. A week before the festival, we will go where the people are, and for the last three days, we will all gather at the festival grounds.
4 — The Preservation Phase
This is the process of follow-up and discipleship. Right from the preparation phase, local churches, and believers will be empowered to raise a group that will follow up and disciple those who will give their lives to Christ until they are rooted in local churches. Our team will continue to help and encourage you during this time.
